Ananda college is founded and managed by the R.C.Diocese of sivagangai. It is a minority, co-educational and self-supporting institution, Her motto is \"Shine in Love\". Though its educational service is oriented towards the christian minority,it is open to the students of other religions too. It is situated in a vast 25 acres within the area of Devakottai municipality(Devakottai Extension) between the twin cities Karaikudi and Devakottai.
