Overview
Youngest of her six sublings, born on Basant Panchmi in 1933 to Late Sri. Moti Ram, a Jat farmer in village Chudiyala, District Merrut (UP), Smt. Basanti Devi got married to Ch. Brahm Singh, village Deoli near Gulaothi (Hapur-Bulandshahr Road) in 1946.Thereafter,she spent the next 13 years in Deoli until the family moved to Bulandshahr in 1959, where her husband started practicing Law. They worked their way through extreme hardships tirelessly with utmost sincereity, both in village and inital years in Bulandshahr until they were finally established very well.
