The college was started by the Physiotherapists, Rotarians & Social workers, notable among them are Dr. D.S. Ghare, former President of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Council, Rotarian Past President Shri M.D. Jambhekar, Rt. Anil Kulkarni, PR Rotary Club Nigdi, Rtn Dr. A. A. Kanitkar, Rtn Ishwardas Chordia, Rtn. Kantilal Khinvsara, Dr. V. G. Vaidya.After Considerable deliberations from January 1992 ultimately on 11th Sept. 1992 the college of Physiotherapy was started with \"Diploma in Physiotherapy course\" of three and half years of Theoretical and Clinical Training & half year of internship. Highly qualified professional then assisted the college.
