The Mission undertaken by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University is to strive for the realisation of the goals beautifully spelt out by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru when he says that, \"a university stands for humanism, for tolerance, for the adventure of ideas & for its search of truth.\" It stands for onward march of human race for still higher objectives and to this end create centres of excellence within its ambit in all spheres of life for the growth of DNYAN and VIDNYAN and to create a culture conducive to the realisation of a just and fair society.
