Overview
MCA Course was started in 1991 as one of the P.G. programmes in the Department of Mathematics. In 2003 a separate Department of Computer Science was established. The Department is offering two Master degree programmes namely MCA and M.Sc. (Computer Science), and a P.G. Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA). From 2007 – 08 Ph.D. and M.Phil programmes in Computer Science were started.? The Department has good computer laboratory and teaching facilities developed with the financial support from UGC and DST.
