Overview

Dhenkanal Law College is established in the year 1981. It is affiliated to Utkal University and permanently recognized by Govt. of Orissa. This college is \\"Accredited by NAAC: \\"C\\" Grade with CGPA 1.96\\". It is also recognized by the Bar council of India. The Institution is included under 2(f) and 12 (b) of the UGC Act and receives assistance from the UGC. The campus area is more than one acre of tree lined lush green land on which the building stands. The Library of the college is equally rich with books, journals and other relevant reading materials. The internet facility is used by the faculty for research and dissemination of current and up to date information to the students. The faculty of the College also undertake research projects and publish articles in the journals. There are adequate number of classrooms and necessary audio-visual and other modern equipments for the teaching-learning process. There is an air conditioned conference hall in the college, which is regularly utilised for the conducting Seminars and Conferences to increase the skill of the students and the faculty. Distinguished persons are also invited to lecture the students. The students are involved in extension activities, legal aid, moot court, field visits and other social contributions apart from engaging in studies.
