Overview

Recognized as the only art institution in the State, the Goa College of Art, provides art education with a four-year course for a Bachelor of Art degree in Painting or Applied Art. Each year, there is a stream of students from within the state and a few from outside, queuing up to pursue a career in their chosen field. The syllabus followed by the institute is innovative in keeping up with current trends in the field of art. Practical work is combined with a knowledge of theory to broaden the scope of creativity in the students.
