Overview
The college was established by municipal council in 1983. Then after four years in 1987 it was undertaken by government of Madhya Pradesh. Garhakota is a small town in the district of Sagar. The town is only connected by means of roadways. The total population of Garhakota is 30,796 according to the census of 2011. Garhakota is situated 47 k..m.. away form the dist. Head quarter Sagar and 30 k.m. from Damoh on the way to Jabalpur. The college is affiliated to Dr. Hari Singh Gour Central University, Sagar and it also has its own examination center which is recognized by the same university.The institution aims to implement the plans of the government regarding educational growth in Garhakota region.
