Overview
The Government Girls Post Graduate College, Rewa (M.P.) was inaugurated by Late Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi on 4th August 1961. This college is the only educational institution of higher learning exclusively for girls with hostel in Rewa district. Since then the college is playing active role in enlightening and empowering young women of this region, the educationally backward region as enlisted by UGC. The college is affiliated to Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa.The college was included in 2f and 12B of the UGC list in 1972. In February 2006, the college has been assessed by NAAC and accredited with B+ grade.
