Govt. P.G. College, Barwani is celebrating its Golden Jubilee in the year 2007-08. Established as Victoria High School in 1933 in the reign of the then ruler Rana Devi Singhji of erstwhile Barwani state and upgraded as college in 1957, it has progressed to its present prestigious status of Postgraduate College acknowledged as “College of Excellence.” This long journey through the years has been full of pride and prestige and has brought many laurels to this institution.The huge Eagle- emblem of this college reaching out to wide horizon – a symbol of the flight of students in life explains the motto of this college.
