Shri Tilak Rastriya Mahavidyalaya Shiksha Samiti, Katni (M.P) founded \\'Tilak Mahavidyalaya, Katni\\' as a private college in the year 1958. It was started as Degree College. Government of Madhya Pradesh took over the college on February 7, 1971. Post-Graduate classes in Arts and Science Subjects were started in 1981-82. Tilak PG College, Katni has accredited \\'B\\' Grade by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) on 10th Februray, 2007 . The Course offered by the college: Bachelor of Science-B.Sc ,Bachelor of Commerce-B.Com ,Bachelor of Arts-B.A Bachelor of Home Science-B.H.Sc. ,Master of Science-M.Sc ,Master of Arts-M.A ,Master of Commerce-M.Com (Started from 2006-07) ,The M. A in many field Master of Arts(Economics),Master of Arts(Sociology) , Master of Arts(Political Science). The subject are Micro Economics Analysis-I, Macro Economics Analysis-I , Macro Economics Analysis-I , Quantitative Methods-I , Public Economics-I , Micro Economics Analysis-II , Economics of Growth Development-II ,Quantitative Methods-II , Public Economics-II .per agreement between M.P. Govt. and IEC for imparting computer education center under the agreement, this college has also been allotted a computer education center for which separate room has been given.P.G. classes in Arts and Science.
