Overview
Dr. C. Joseph Barnabas had his Pre-University and B.A. Courses in the Government Arts Colleges at Vridhachalam and at Villipuramand joined Madras Christian College for his Masters course in 1979 and subsequently completed his M.Phil course in 1982. He began his teaching career in the year 1982 at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur and then joined the Department of History, Madras Christian College, in August 1983 and served the same institution until his retirement in May 2013.
