Model Institute of Engineering and Technology setup in 1998 is the first private engineering college in the State of J&K. It is part of the MIER Group of Institutions established in 1936, the oldest private educational enterprise in the State of J&K.Our Mission is to establish Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) as a front ranking high quality institution by preparing specialists, technical and professionals in the field of engineering and other professional areas by providing multi-mode instructional facilities congruent with global trends based on excellence, innovation, research, new pedagogies and technologies through self-reliance, collaboration, extension and service to the society.
