Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT), Rishikesh takes pride of being pioneer in the field of professional and technical education in the state of Uttarakhand. OIMT was founded in the year 1999 with the kind permission of HD Paramahamsa Swami Omkarananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj. OIMT started with MBA, BBA and BCA courses, striving upon providing value based quality education to the students of Uttarakhand and other states of the country since its inception. OIMT being one of the oldest institutions of professional and higher education in the state, presently runs MBA/ MBA Evening/ MAM (MBA Integrated), BBA, MSc (Computer Science), BSc (IT), BCA, Master/ Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication – BJMC & MAMC, Master/ Bachelor in Library and Information Science – M.Lib. & B.Lib., and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
