Overview

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology is run by Vidyapeeth Education Trust. The Institute is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India. It is situated on National Highway No- 1 near Samalkha, and is about 21 Kms. from Panipat and 50 Kms. from Karnal bypass. It is easily approachable by rail and road. It is spread over an area of 16 acres of land with a well planned layout. The main aim of the institute is to promote academic growth by offering Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Engineering and Management. The academic program reflects the Institute’s commitment to stay in tune with the expanding frontiers of knowledge worldwide. The onward drive earned the Institute the coveted Best Engineering College- 2014 in Delhi-NCR, and was awarded the certificate of proud distinction by the Hon’ble Minister of Communication & Information & Minister of Law & Justice, Government of India Sh. Kapil Sibal on 10th January 2014. This is the result of our continuous efforts of approaching excellency, which has made us the Best, from the Top Institutes in Haryana, Delhi/NCR. PIET added one more feather to its glorious cap by bagging two prestigious awards of Academic Excellence in NCR-2014 & Best Placement in NCR-2014 bestowed by Hon’ble Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Government of India, Dr. Shashi Tharoor on 14th April 2014.
