Overview

Sahu Ram Swaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly is affiliated to Mahatama Jyotiba Phuley Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (B+ Accredited by NAAC on 28 Fb 2005) Sahu Ram Swaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya has acquired a respectable position in the field of women’s education, not only in Bareilly, but in the whole of Rohilkhand division. It was established by Late Shri Sahu Ram Swaroop ji in the fond memory of his father Late Shri Sahu Gopi Nath ji. This institute was accordingly named Sahu Gopi Nath Mahila Mahavidyalaya. In 1955 it started as a Junior High School and moving onwards on the road to success, it became a graduate college in 1965 and in the session of 1980-81 it achieved the status of a Post Graduate Girls Degree College.
