Overview

I feel our engineering education system is facing a number of challenges and hardships, be it trained faculty, curriculum design, quality system assurance, lab facilities up gradation, resource crises or management transformation, which need identification and steps for alleviation.Botad, an important taluka place of Bhavnagar district, is a land where the famous gujarati poets Shri Zaverchand Meghani and Shri Botadkar adorned the land; the former stayed and passed last phase of his life spreading the fragrance of folk - culture while the latter was born and inherited a sensitive stream of poetry in gujarati literature. Such an auspicious land has a beautiful topographical site having so many natural picnic and pilgrimage places at Shalingpur Hanuman and Shree Swaminarayan Temple at Ghadhada. Botad is located at 160 kms away from Ahmedabad city and directly connected with mega cities of India through broad gauge railway line and state Highways.
