SLN Ayurvedic College- Amritsar (SLN)

Overview

Shree Lakshmi Narayan Ayurvedic College, Amritsar, was established by Iate Shri pujya pt. Mayadhari ji Shastri, who was a renowned Ayurvedacharya & Philanthropist of North India. This college is managed by Shree Durgiana Education Foundation Amritsar since 1972. Initially it was running the course with syllabus prescribed by Bharat Varsheeya Ayurved Vidyapeeth Dehi. From 1976 it was affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University,Amritsar and five years B.A.M.S. course as prescribed by C.C.I.M., New Delhi have been started. From 1999 it came under Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. At present it is affiliated to Guru Ravidas Ayurveda University, Hoshiarpur. There are 50 seats( in the college for getting admission to) of B.A.M.S Ist. prof. An Ayurvedic Hospital and a pharmacy is attached to this college. College has also the facility of hostel for girls and boys. Transport facitity of Bus is also available.
