CMJU is a private university located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. Created through a state act in 2009,[2] it is the first private university established in Meghalaya.[citation needed]The campus is situated on a 40-acre campus on a hillock in Jorabat on the Guwahati-Shillong Highway.
