Karnataka Folklore University, Gotagodi, Shiggaon [1][2][3] is a new Public university exclusively dedicated to the study and research of Folklore which is established in 2011 at Shiggaon district by the Government of Karnataka. First vice chancellor for the university is Prof. Ambalike Hiriyanna.
