Rayalaseema University, Kurnool was established in 2008. The university has been granted with an A Grade certification by the NAAC constituted by UGC. The university LEADS conventional degree, post graduate and research courses as well as areas like Geology, Pharmacy, Criminology & Forensic Science, Anthropology and Computer Applications which draw a large number of students. It is a state university and a member of the Association of Indian Universities, AIU.
