The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (also called Sri Sathya Sai University (Deemed to be University)) is an Indianuniversity founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba, under Section 3 of theUniversity Grants Commission Act of 1956.[1] Sathya Sai Baba is the founding chancellor of the institute, while the current Chancellor is M.N. Venkatachaliah who was former Chief Justice of India.[2] There are four campuses,three for men at the Prashanthi Nilayam ashram, Puttaparthi,Whitefield, and Muddenahalli, Karnataka and one for women inAnantapur.
